A Bill to amend Section 56-1-460, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to penalties for driving while a driver's license has been cancelled, suspended, or revoked, so as to delete the authority of the Department of Highways and Public Transportation to suspend a license of a person for an additional time if he is convicted under the provisions of this Section after the original period of suspension has expired and to provide that a person must not be convicted under the provisions of this Section if the original period of suspension has expired.
