A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 6-7-1120 so as to require a subdivider of land when twenty-five or more residential units are to be constructed in the subdivision to obtain a permit from the Department of Highways and Public Transportation to insure that the increased traffic generated by the development on the highways or streets affected does not create a safety hazard or cause undue damage and maintenance expense.
