A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 19-11-95 so as to provide that confidential communications made to health care professionals are privileged communications and to provide exceptions which include the release of medical records of a patient covered by a health insurance program which has contracted with a professional review organization to review its program.
