A Joint Resolution proposing an amendment to Section 26 of Article V of the Constitution of South Carolina, 1895, relating to magistrates, so as to provide that beginning in 1988, all magistrates must be elected in the manner the General Assembly shall provide in a nonpartisan election to be held at the same time as the General Election.
