    A Bill to reauthorize the existence of the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners; to amend Section 40-69-30, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, so as to increase the number of members from five to nine, provide the method of appointment and provide for the filling of vacancies; to provide that the present members of the Board shall serve until the expiration of their terms or December 31, 1982; to amend Section 40-69-80, relating to qualifications of applicants for licensing as veterinarians, so as to delete the requirements of evidence of good physical and mental health, United States citizenship and upholding the United States Constitution; and to amend Section 40-69-120, relating to reciprocal licensing agreements, so as to require the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to enter into reciprocal agreements with other states having similar licensing requirements.
