A Bill to amend Chapter 1, Title 38, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to insurance, by adding Section 38-1-130 so as to provide that if any insurance company doing business in this State challenges in a court of competent jurisdiction a moratorium on additional rate increases imposed by the Chief Insurance Commissioner or the Department of Insurance pursuant to law, the authority of that company to do business in South Carolina is revoked for a period of one year from the date of the filing of the challenge.
