H 2676 General Bill, By Wilkins, J.M. Arthur, J.M. Baxley, H. Brown, H.H. Clyborne, L.E. Gentry, Haskins, Hayes, B.L. Hendricks, J.W. Johnson, D.E. Martin, D.M. McEachin, J.T. McElveen, E.L. Nettles, J.H. Toal, J.W. Tucker and J.B. Wilder
    A Bill to amend Section 44-53-445, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the distribution of a controlled substance within a certain proximity of a school, so as to provide that this criminal offense is a felony, provide different penalties for the criminal offender who was less than twenty-one years of age at the time he committed the act and for the offender who was twenty-one years of age or older at the time he committed the act, and change the term "presumptions" in the Section to "inferences"; and to amend Section 16-1-10, as amended, relating to crimes classified as felonies, so as to include the crime contained in Section 44-53-445.
