    A Bill to amend Section 24-1-250, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the authorization of the State Board of Corrections to sell timber and the use of the proceeds from such sale, so as to delete the requirement that the proceeds from such sale be credited to the Department to be used for capital improvements and authorize the Department to retain such funds to be utilized to maintain and expand its agricultural program; and to amend Section 24-3-410, as amended, relating to the sale of prison-made products on the open market, so as to provide that the proceeds of the sale of all agricultural products produced by an instrumentality under the control of the State Board of Corrections shall be applied as provided in Section 24-1-250.
