    A Bill to amend Section 47-1-10, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the definition of animals for purposes of cruelty to animals so as to revise this definition and add certain other definitions, and to amend Section 47-1-40, relating to the unlawful ill treatment of animals so as to revise the prohibited offenses, and to increase penalties for violations.
