H 2894 General Bill, By P.T. Bradley, B.O. Baker, Davenport and E.D. Foxworth
    A Bill to amend Chapter 1, Title 8, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to public officers and employees, by adding Section 8-1-130 so as to provide that before a public official who holds an elective office is eligible to file as a candidate for election to another elective public office in any primary, general, or special election, he is first required to resign his current office if his election to the new office would necessitate the holding of a special election to fill the vacancy created in his current office.
