    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Sections 20-1-205, 20-1-222, 20-1-224, 20-1-226, and 20-1-228; and to amend Sections 20-1-210, 20-1-220, 20-1-230, 20-1-240, 20-1-280, 20-1-290, and 20-1-300, relating to marriage licenses, so as to provide for the requirement of a physician's certificate detailing a premarital medical examination including laboratory tests for sexually transmitted diseases including Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), provide circumstances under which a license must not be issued, provide exceptions, provide for regulations promulgated by the Department of Health and Environmental Control, require information on sexually transmitted diseases to be provided to license applicants, and provide penalties.
