A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 39-1-80 so as to provide that a licensed health care professional may not refer a patient for treatment or tests to a facility or entity in which the health care professional has a financial interest unless the patient is notified in writing of the nature of the financial interest and to provide exceptions.
