A Bill to amend Section 12-36-2110, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the three hundred dollar maximum sales, use, and casual excise tax on motor vehicles and other items, so as to provide a tax rate of 3.15 percent on the sale or lease of motor vehicles and motorcycles with a total tax not to exceed fifteen hundred dollars and to provide that commercial vehicles with a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight in excess of ten thousand pounds qualify for the three hundred dollar maximum tax.
