Summary: Highway signage
    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 57-3-610, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE NAMING OF A HIGHWAY FACILITY IN HONOR OF AN INDIVIDUAL, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT UNLESS THE HIGHWAY FACILITY IS DEDICATED AND NAMED IN HONOR OF EITHER A SERVICEMAN, LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OR FIREMAN KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY, PUBLIC FUNDS MAY NOT BE USED TO REIMBURSE THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE EXPENSES IT INCURS TO NAME AND DEDICATE THE HIGHWAY FACILITY; AND BY ADDING SECTION 57-3-612 SO AS TO REVISE THE PROVISION FOR THE USE OF "C" FUNDS AND GENERAL FUND REVENUES TO DEFRAY THE COSTS OF PURCHASING OR ERECTING SIGNAGE FOR TRAFFIC GENERATORS.
