A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 12-37-285, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE AUTHORITY OF A MUNICIPALITY TO ALLOW AN ADDITIONAL UNREIMBURSED HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION FROM MUNICIPAL TAXES FOR PROPERTY RECEIVING THE STATEWIDE HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION ALLOWED ON THE DWELLINGS OF PERSONS WHO HAVE ATTAINED AGE SIXTY-FIVE OR WHO ARE PERMANENTLY AND TOTALLY DISABLED, SO AS TO EXTEND THIS AUTHORITY TO ALL POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS OF THE STATE, INCLUDING SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
