H 3521 General Bill, By Sharpe
    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 48-1-115 so as to require under the Pollution Control Act that a permit to expand or construct a new hazardous, infectious, or solid waste facility may not be issued unless the applicant demonstrates the need for the facility or expansion, and to authorize the Department of Health and Environmental Control to promulgate regulations to implement the demonstration of need requirements for certain facilities.
