    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 15-49-60 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON WHO IS REFERRED TO AS A SEX OFFENDER IS NOT ALLOWED TO CHANGE HIS NAME UNLESS THE CHANGE IS INCIDENT TO A CHANGE IN HIS MARITAL STATUS, OR IS NECESSARY TO EFFECT THE EXERCISE OF HIS RELIGION, AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE NAME CHANGE MUST BE REPORTED TO THE SHERIFF IN THE COUNTY IN WHICH HE RESIDES WITHIN A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME.
