H 3564 General Bill, By P.E. Short, P.M. Burch and J.V. Gregory
    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 61-5-175 so as to provide that any person or organization authorized to serve beer, wine, or alcoholic liquor from bottles larger than two ounces, to guests or invitees without the necessity of obtaining a license or permit from the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission is immune from liability resulting from a guest or invitee becoming intoxicated absent recklessness, and to provide that the person or organization is considered not to have acted in a reckless manner if bartenders employed or engaged by it to serve invitees or guests are instructed not to serve intoxicated individuals or persons under the legal drinking age.
