H 3760 General Bill, By E.W. Simpson
    A Bill to amend Article 11, Chapter 5 of Title 56, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to restrictions on speed of motor vehicles, by adding Section 56-5-1555 so as to provide that any motor vehicle transporting "hazardous waste" or "radioactive waste" may not exceed a speed of greater than forty-five miles an hour, and to provide penalties for violation; and to amend Section 13-7-160 relating to regulations under the South Carolina Radioactive Waste Transportation and Disposal Act, and Section 44-56-30 relating to regulations under the South Carolina Hazardous Waste Management Act so as to provide that regulations promulgated under these Sections must contain requirements that motor vehicles transporting these respective wastes upon the streets and highways of this State must have attached thereto certain identifying red flags.
