    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-730, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN STATE INSURANCE PLANS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER EMPLOYED BY AN ENTITY WHOSE EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR STATE INSURANCE PLANS WHO IS PERMANENTLY DISABLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY AND WHOSE EMPLOYMENT IS TERMINATED AS A RESULT OF THE DISABILITY IS ELIGIBLE FOR STATE HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE PLANS AND STATE-PAID PREMIUMS.
