H 3880 General Bill, By Elliott, Barfield and Keegan
    A Bill to amend Section 9-9-40, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to membership in the retirement system for members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, so as to provide that a member of the General Assembly from the years 1956 to 1970 who terminated with at least six years' service may establish credit for the service by paying the amount paid by members at the same time for the same service, plus interest and to allow a former member electing to reestablish the credit to receive a benefit if he is at least sixty years of age.
