H 3902 General Bill, By M. McLeod, L. Blanding and G.A. Brown
    A Bill to amend Section 48-23-10, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the State Commission of Forestry, so as to reconstitute the Commission into a seven member Commission elected by the General Assembly, one member elected from each Congressional District and a Chairman elected from the State at large, to prohibit persons owning more than five thousand acres of forestland, or who are employed by or retained to represent persons or entities owning more than five thousand acres of forestland from serving on the Commission; and to repeal Sections 48-23-20 and 48-23-30, relating to the terms of Commissioners and election of the Commission Chairman.
