A Bill to amend Article 9, Chapter 7 of Title 14, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to objections and challenges to jurors, by adding Section 14-7-1125 so as to provide that in exercising its peremptory challenges in criminal cases, the State or the prosecution shall state a reason for each peremptory challenge made which must be preserved in the record of the case.
