H 3927 General Bill, By J.M. Baxley
    A Bill to amend Sections 56-5-910, 56-5-930, and 56-5-940, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to stop signs and traffic control devices, so as to authorize a local authority to erect the signs and devices without prior approval from the Department of Highways and Public Transportation, except they must conform to the State manual and specifications and must be maintained by the Department; and to amend Section 56-5-1540, as amended, relating to the alteration of speed limits by local authorities, so as to delete the provision requiring the approval of any alteration by the Department.
