    A Bill to amend Act 512 of 1984, as amended, relating to the South Carolina Education Improvement Act of 1984, so as to make changes in the provisions dealing with monitoring implementation of the Education Improvement Program, duties of the Governor and the State Superintendent of Education, and the creation of the Public Accountability Division, including, among other things, deleting certain language and requiring the Deputy Superintendent to provide all reports to the Governor, the Select Committee, the Joint Subcommittee, and the State Board of Education and respond to any inquiries for information.
