    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 44-113-20, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO DEFINITION OF TERMS IN THE PROVIDER SELF REFERRAL ACT, INCLUDING THE DEFINITION OF "INVESTMENT INTEREST" USED IN THE PROVIDER SELF-REFERRAL ACT AND EXEMPTIONS FROM THIS DEFINITION, SO AS TO CLARIFY THAT THE EXEMPTION FOR AN INVESTMENT INTEREST IN AN ENTITY IN RURAL AREAS MUST ONLY PROVIDE SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT OR MORE OF THE DESIGNATED HEALTH SERVICES, RATHER THAN ALL OF THESE SERVICES.
