H 4103 General Bill, By J.H. Neal, Cobb-Hunter and Scott
    A Bill to amend Section 59-101-280, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the provision that state-supported colleges and universities emphasize teaching as a career opportunity, so as to provide that the educational curriculum at state-supported colleges and universities offering an "Education" major shall include components on the National Teacher Examination, and to provide that students at these institutions may not be awarded their degree if "Education" is their primary major unless they have first scored sufficiently high on the National Teacher Examination in specific teaching areas to be certified under the laws of this State in those areas.
