A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 2-19-70 so as to provide that no candidate for a Family Court, Circuit Court, Court of Appeals, or Supreme Court judgeship may campaign or lobby members of the General Assembly for these positions until the qualifications of all candidates have been determined by the screening committee and to provide that a violation of this provision by a candidate may be considered by the screening committee in determining his qualifications.
