A Bill to amend Section 23-23-40, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to requirements for basic training requirements for law enforcement officers, so as to provide that training by the Armed Services of the United States or federal law enforcement agencies may qualify a person to serve as a law enforcement officer without certification by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Training Council.
