    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 53-5-40 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT VETERAN'S DAY AND MEMORIAL DAY MUST BE RECOGNIZED AS A HOLIDAY FOR ALL LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF THE STATE AND THAT THE SCHOOLS AND OFFICES OF THE DISTRICTS MUST BE CLOSED ON THOSE DATES.
