A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 40-59-76 so as to further provide for the manner in which the cost of the undertaking is determined for residential builder and residential specialty contractor purposes; and to amend Section 40-59-77, as amended, relating to classification and registration of residential specialty contractors, so as to provide that the Residential Builders Commission shall insure that residential specialty contractors possess qualifications and experience in their particular contracting vocation, including the authority of the Commission to determine these qualifications by use of an examination where necessary.
