    A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 59-20-50, RELATING TO PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHER SALARY SCHEDULES, SO AS TO PROVIDE EACH SCHOOL DISTRICT SHALL PAY EACH CERTIFIED SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER WHO IS TEACHING SPECIAL EDUCATION COURSES FULL-TIME IN THE DISTRICT AN ANNUAL SALARY OF AT LEAST FIFTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS BEGINNING WITH THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR.
