H 4795 General Bill, By J.C. Johnson
    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 57-7-235 so as to provide that the owners of residences which abut a particular block or section of a street or highway within the jurisdiction of a county or municipality may petition the governing body of that county or municipality to install speed control devices along that block or section, and to provide that if the petition contains the signatures of at least two-thirds of these owners, the owners at their expense are authorized to install and maintain these speed control devices if the governing body of the county or municipality refuses.
