A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-3-1265 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY MUST DISPLAY IN ALL DIVISION OF MOTOR VEHICLE OFFICES WHERE MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE PLATES OR STICKERS MAY BE OBTAINED OR RENEWED EXAMPLES OF ALL TYPES OF SPECIAL LICENSE PLATES WHICH INDIVIDUALS OF A PARTICULAR GROUP MAY OBTAIN, AND TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONS; AND TO AMEND SECTION 56-3-1230, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO SPECIFICATIONS OF LICENSE PLATES, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT NEW LICENSE PLATES MUST BE PROVIDED AT LEAST EVERY SIX YEARS, AND TO REQUIRE THAT A PORTION OF CERTAIN LICENSE PLATE OR REGISTRATION FEES MUST BE USED FOR THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRODUCTION AND ISSUANCE OF NEW PLATES.-AMENDED TITLE
