A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 12-7-1295 so as to allow a credit against state income tax due equal to ten percent of the wages paid by the taxpayer to employ students not yet graduated from high school, to limit the credit to the wages of students with no grade below "C" in their last reporting period, to double the credit in the case of the wages paid otherwise eligible minority youth, and to define "minority".
