A Bill to amend Sections 62-2-201, 62-2-202, 62-2-203, 62-2-204, 62-2-205, 62-2-206, and 62-2-207, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to a surviving spouse's right to take an elective share of a decedent's estate, so as to provide that the surviving spouse may take one-third of the augmented estate rather than the probate estate and to define the term augmented estate.
