    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 38-77-162 so as to authorize a person having underinsured motorist insurance who is injured by the wrongful act of another to notify, under certain conditions, the underinsured motorist insurer of an offer to pay, and require the underinsured motorist insurer, within a certain time, to waive its subrogation rights or pay the injured party the amount of the offer and thereby preserve its subrogation of rights.
