H 5025 General Bill, By T.F. Rogers, T.L. Farr and S.S. Wofford
    A Bill to amend Section 24-3-20, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the release of prisoners to work at paid employment or participate in a training program; Section 24-3-210, relating to unaccompanied leave authorized for a prisoner for certain reasons; and Section 24-13-610, relating to the extended work release program, so as to provide that a person convicted of a violent crime may not participate in work release, training programs, leave, or extended work release; and to repeal Section 24-13-650 relating to the prohibition of the release of a violent criminal back into the community in which he committed the offense under the extended work release program.
