    A House Resolution to request the House Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee to investigate whether or not the laws of this State are adequate to handle the problems which may arise as a result of an oil spill in the waters or lands within the territorial jurisdiction of this State, including insurance, indemnity, clean-up, and communications issues, and to recommend to the General Assembly any changes it considers necessary in South Carolina's statutory or regulatory provisions in regard to these problems.
