H 5058 General Bill, By R.L. Altman and T.M. Burriss
    A Bill to amend Section 11-35-1520, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to contracts awarded by competitive sealed bidding, so as to increase the threshold dollar amount of the contracts subject to the competitive sealed bidding requirement to five thousand dollars from twenty-five hundred, and to provide the procedure for awarding contracts amounting to less than five thousand dollars; and to amend Section 11-35-70 relating to certain school districts, so as to provide for purchases which must be made by competitive sealed bidding.
