S 0053 General Bill, By Reese and O'Dell
    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 42-1-455 so as to provide that persons who are partners, sole proprietors, or corporate officers who have given notice of nonacceptance of the provisions of Title 42 are limited to the same legal remedies possessed by a person who has secured coverage under a policy of Workers' Compensation insurance, and provide that no contractor is liable under Title 42 for work-related injuries or illnesses of the employees of uninsured subcontractors.
