Summary: Retirement system for judges and solicitors
    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 9-8-60, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO RETIREMENT IN THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR JUDGES AND SOLICITORS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IF THE TERM OF A SOLICITOR WHO HAS RETIRED AND CONTINUES TO SERVE AS A SOLICITOR BEGINS BEFORE THE END OF THE CALENDAR YEAR IN WHICH THE SOLICITOR ATTAINS THE AGE OF SEVENTY-TWO YEARS, THEN THE SOLICITOR MAY CONTINUE TO SERVE AS SOLICITOR AND RECEIVE A RETIREMENT BENEFIT UNTIL THE END OF THE SOLICITOR'S TERM.
