S 0587 General Bill, By Land, Leatherman and I.E. Lourie
    A Bill to amend Section 42-5-190, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to Workers' Compensation and the tax on self-insurers, so as to provide that the required report be made by the fifteenth day of the third month following the close on the self-insurer's fiscal year, provide authority to the Worker's Compensation Commission to assess a penalty against a self-insurer who fails to pay the tax by the required date, and provide for the withdrawal of the privilege of self-insuring in South Carolina under certain conditions.
