    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 59-149-10, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE ELIGIBILITY FOR AND AMOUNTS OF A LIFE SCHOLARSHIP, SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2001-2002 ONLY, ELIGIBLE RESIDENT STUDENTS ATTENDING TWO-YEAR INDEPENDENT INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING WHO RECEIVED A LIFE SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE YEAR 2000-2001 SHALL RECEIVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP DOLLARS FOR 2001-2002 AS THEY DID FOR 2000-2001 IF THEY OTHERWISE QUALIFY.
