    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 14-7-860, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO EXCUSING JURORS FOR GOOD CAUSE, SO AS TO PROVIDE THE PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN, INSTEAD OF THE WOMAN, WHO HAS LEGAL CUSTODY AND THE DUTY OF CARE FOR A CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF SEVEN SHALL BE EXCUSED FOR JURY DUTY UPON FURNISHING AN AFFIDAVIT TO THAT EFFECT TO THE CLERK OF COURT.
