    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 23-3-490, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE RELEASE OF INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC CONCERNING THE NAMES OF PERSONS REQUIRED TO REGISTER WITH THE SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY, SO AS TO PROVIDE FURTHER CIRCUMSTANCES UNDER WHICH THE NAME OF AN OFFENDER MAY BE RELEASED TO A PERSON WHO HAS REASON TO BELIEVE THAT AN OFFENDER IS LIVING WITHIN A ONE-MILE RADIUS OF HIS RESIDENCE.
