S 0856 General Bill, By McGill and Reese
    A Bill to amend Section 9-1-1860, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the eligibility of a contributing member of the South Carolina Retirement System to establish service credit for the member's former employment by a municipality which was not a covered employer at the time of such employment, so as to extend the eligibility to a contributing member of the governing body of such a municipality and to provide that payment of a salary to the member of the governing body is not a requirement for eligibility to establish such service.
