H 3740 General Bill, By  House Ways and Means
 A Bill to amend Act 1377 of 1968, as amended, relating to the issuance of
 State Capital Improvement Bonds, so as to authorize the issuance of additional
 bonds for the construction of the Visitor/Information/Tourism Education and
 Training Center to be named in honor of the late Charles E. Hodges and located
 on the campus of the Horry-Georgetown Technical Education Center; to authorize
 the issuance of additional bonds for the construction of armories; to reduce
 bond authorizations for the University of South Carolina and the Department of
 Mental Retardation; and to provide that the Joint Bond Review Committee shall
 schedule the authorizations into its schedule of authorizations; to amend
 Section 59-107-120, relating to state institution bonds, so as to delete the
 provision which states that no bonds may be issued to mature after the year
 1995; to amend Act 653 of 1978, relating to bond issues for the College of
 Charleston and Francis Marion College so as to increase the authorized bond
 issue from three million dollars to nine million dollars for dormitories and
 buildings at Francis Marion College; to amend Act 1377 of 1968, as amended,
 relating to State Capitol Improvement Bonds, so as to increase the
 authorization for the College Center Phase II for Lander College from
 5,415,000 to 6,404,780 dollars and to reduce the authorization for the Alcohol
 Fuel Development Loan Program from 5,000,000 to 4,784,220 dollars.
