 A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE J.L. MANN HIGH SCHOOL, OF
 GREENVILLE COUNTY, ON BEING AWARDED THE 2006-07 CLASS AAA DIRECTOR'S CUP FOR
 ITS OUTSTANDING SPORTS PROGRAM.

TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE J.L. MANN HIGH SCHOOL, OF GREENVILLE COUNTY, ON BEING AWARDED THE 2006-07 CLASS AAA DIRECTOR'S CUP FOR ITS OUTSTANDING SPORTS PROGRAM.

Whereas, the high excellence of the J.L. Mann High School sports program commands respect from friends and foes alike; and

Whereas, in recognition of the continuing superiority of its sports program, the school has won the coveted 2006-07 Class AAA Director's Cup, awarded to the best sports program in the State for its class by the South Carolina Athletic Administrators Association; and

Whereas, this well-deserved achievement may be attributed to the united efforts of J.L. Mann's athletes and coaches, as well as to the staunch support of faculty, school and district administration, and parents; and

Whereas, it is no mean accomplishment to deserve and win an award two years running, and the J.L. Mann High School sports program has done just that in earning the AAA Director's Cup again this year; and

Whereas, in receiving this honor, the J.L. Mann High School sports program has brought much praise to its school, community, and State, and the House of Representatives takes great pride in saluting J.L. Mann High School on its impressive performance. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and congratulate J.L. Mann High School, of Greenville County, on being awarded the 2006-07 Class AAA Director's Cup for its outstanding sports program.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Deb Osborne, J.L. Mann High School Athletic Director.
