A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND AND THANK WADE S. KOLB, JR., OF SUMTER FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS SOLICITOR OF THE PreviousTHIRDNext JUDICIAL CIRCUIT.

Whereas, Wade S. Kolb, Jr., of Sumter became the Solicitor of the PreviousThirdNext Judicial Circuit of South Carolina in 1982; and

Whereas, in this capacity he served as the State's chief prosecutor for the counties of Sumter, Lee, Clarendon, and Williamsburg; and

Whereas, in November 1997, Solicitor Kolb announced that he would retire a year before his current four-year term of office expires and did, in fact, recently step down from this post; and

Whereas, Wade Kolb has rendered the State outstanding service as solicitor; he is known, respected, and admired for his dedication, hard work, and integrity; and, we are delighted to have this opportunity to accord him special recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commends and thanks Wade S. Kolb, Jr., of Sumter for his outstanding service as Solicitor of the PreviousThird Judicial Circuit.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to former Solicitor Wade S. Kolb, Jr.
